Hermann Joeck

Hermann Jöck (born October 31, 1873 in Weimar ; † August 10, 1925 there ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

The son of a master carpenter , studied Jöck after visiting the Wilhelm-Ernst-Gymnasium Weimar laws and cameralistics in Leipzig . During his studies in 1895 he became a member of the Leipzig fraternity Dresdensia . After his exams he became a lawyer and notary in Weimar. In 1919 he became a member of the state parliament in the Free State of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach for the Progress Party and then for the DNVP . He belonged to the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten .
