Hermann Kienzl

Hermann Kienzl (born June 22, 1865 in Graz , † May 13, 1928 in Berlin ) was an Austrian writer , journalist and theater critic .

Hermann Kienzl was a son of the lawyer and local politician Wilhelm Kienzl and brother of the composer Wilhelm Kienzl . He studied philosophy and German at the universities of Graz, Innsbruck and Leipzig. During his studies in 1885 he co-founded the Marcho-Teutonia Graz fraternity . From 1889 he worked as an editor and art critic in Berlin. He wrote for the Wiener Deutsche Volksblatt and the Grazer Tagblatt .
