Hermann Krause (born November 28, 1848 in Schneidemühl , † August 8, 1921 in Bad Wildungen ) was a German doctor and larynx specialist .

Life

After studying in Breslau and Berlin, where he also received his doctorate in 1872, he worked as a general practitioner in Berlin from 1873. From 1880 to 1881 he continued his specialist training in Vienna (under Leopold Schrötter von Kristelli and Karl Stoerk ) and in Berlin (under Hermann Munk). From 1885 he worked as a lecturer in laryngology and rhinology at the University of Berlin , having obtained his habilitation in laryngology . From 1887 to 1888 he was a specialist in the treatment of larynx cancer from Emperor Friedrich III. involved. In 1888 he was appointed professor. He was a member and corresponding member of various domestic and foreign scientific societies. In 1895 he retired.

He found his final resting place in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf .
