Hermann Passen

Hermann Passen (born September 25, 1882 in Krefeld ; † August 28, 1949 there ) was a German local politician ( CDU ). He was Lord Mayor of Krefeld from 1947 to 1949 .

Life

After attending a high school, Pass completed a commercial apprenticeship and further professional training. From 1908 to 1915 he was managing director of the Center Party in Krefeld. During the First World War, Passen was employed by the Reich Office for Vegetables and Fruit in Berlin, after the war he became director of Deutsche Vacuum Oil AG in Düsseldorf and Duisburg. After the Second World War he was a member of the main denazification committee for the Krefeld district.

Fit was elected Mayor of Krefeld and held this office from February 24, 1947 until his death on August 28, 1949.
