Hermann Pischke

Hermann Pischke (born February 27, 1869 in Groß Schliewitz ; † after 1932) was a German educator and politician ( DVP ).

Life

After attending the village school, Pischke completed the teachers' seminar in Preussisch Friedland . He worked from 1890 to 1901 as a primary school teacher in Stewken and Korzeniec near Thorn and in the town of Laskowitz . From 1901 to 1903 he studied philosophy, German language, literature and history at the Humboldt University in Berlin . From 1903 to 1905 Pischke was an assistant teacher at the teachers' college in Kreuzburg , from 1905 to 1907 an elementary school teacher and from 1907 to 1919 a secondary school teacher in Poznan . He also worked from 1912 to 1920 as an editor for the Poznan teachers' newspaper . In July 1920 he became a middle school teacher in Greifswald and from July 1926 to 1932 he worked as a middle school teacher in Frankfurt (Oder) .

Pischke joined the DVP in 1919. He was a member of the Prussian state assembly from 1919 to 1921 and was subsequently elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932.
