Rudolf Marxer

Rudolf Marxer (born April 27, 1904 in Mauren ; † April 25, 1972 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician ( FBP ).

biography

Marxer was the son of the carpenter Eduard Marxer and his wife Maria Mathilde (nee Ritter). He was a citizen of the municipality of Mauren and completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter in Röthis , Vorarlberg from 1923 to 1926 , while also attending the building trade school in Bregenz . Then Marxer, now a master carpenter, and two brothers took over the carpentry of their father in Mauren.

Like his father, he was a member of the Mauren municipal council from 1933 to 1948. During this time he acted from 1939 to 1942 and again from 1945 to 1948 as deputy mayor . From 1943 to 1968 he worked as an agent .

Marxer belonged to the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein for almost two decades . First from 1939 to 1949 as a deputy member of parliament, then from 1949 to 1953 as a member of parliament and finally from 1953 to 1957 again as a deputy member of parliament. From 1945 to 1949 he was Deputy Government Councilor.

Marxer was married to Anna Ludescher since 1934. The marriage had five children.
