Hermann Plathner (master builder)

Hermann Georg Christian Plathner (born December 24, 1818 in the Kamenz district of Münsterberg , Lower Silesia ; † November 25, 1897 in Herischdorf ) was a German builder .

Life

Hermann Plathner attended the Friedrichs-Gymnasium in Breslau and the royal high school in Glatz . In 1838 he was appointed royal surveyor. After attending the building academy in Berlin, he became a master builder in 1841, a building inspector in 1842 and a land and hydraulic engineering inspector in 1845. In 1852 he rose to the position of royal railway builder and unskilled worker in the Ministry of Commerce in Berlin. In 1872 he was appointed building officer and in 1874 government and building officer. In 1887 he retired.

Plathner wrote several scientific papers.
