Hermann Reissinger

Hermann Reissinger (born January 17, 1913 in Dinkelsbühl ; † November 14, 1987 ) was a German textile merchant and member of the Bavarian Senate .

Reissinger passed the Abitur at the Melanchthon-Gymnasium in Nuremberg . He studied law and political science in Würzburg and at the University of Munich . After earning his degree in economics, he spent a year as an exchange student at Wittenberg University in Springfield (Ohio) and worked as a trainee lawyer. During the Second World War he was used in a mountain division and was held captive. In 1948 he was married into the Jean M. Bauer Woll-Bauer company in Nuremberg, where he started as a textile merchant. In 1951 he became managing director there, in 1956 managing partner and later co-owner of the open trading company of the same name . At the regional association of Bavarian retailers he was chairman of the Middle Franconia district from 1973 and from 1975 to 1983 president of the regional association, and also vice-president of the main association of German retailers . In 1970 he also became chairman of the tariff commission for Bavarian retailers. He was also a member of the Presidium of the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce , the Board of Directors of the Association of Employers' Associations in Bavaria and, from 1980 to 1985, the Bavarian Senate .
