Hermann Ringle (born September 13, 1881 in Blieskastel ; † August 2, 1957 in Saarbrücken ) was chairman of the SPD in Blieskastel from 1910 and became a member of the city council in the local elections in 1920, for the first time for a member of the local social democrats. In addition, Ringle was a member of the 1st regional council of the Saar region , which was elected in June 1922 and chairman of the workers choral society "Liederkranz", which was also founded in 1910, and was its honorary chairman from 1950 until his death.

Ringle was a Protestant and worker at the prosperous shoe factory Borck & Co. , later Dihlmann & Co. in Blieskastel. Later he was promoted to office assistant. As early as 1905 he was a member of the "Central Association of German Shoemakers" and at times chairman of the local group Blieskastel, the number of which was given as 75 members. In the 1912 Reichstag election , 45 of the 337 Blieskastelers eligible to vote gave their vote to the Social Democrats. The national liberals were the winners in the constituency .

The founding of the local association “Social Democratic Association for Blieskastel and the Surrounding Area” took place on Sunday, August 14, 1910, after it was published on August 11, 1910 in the social-democratic daily newspaper Pfälzische Post. Organ for the interests of the people a corresponding appeal had been printed. Ringle was elected as the first chairman of the newly formed SPD. It was not until ten years later that the SPD was able to win a mandate for the city council in the Catholic Blieskastel.

From 1916 Ringle was 1st chairman of the general local health insurance fund St. Ingbert-Land. The choice was unanimous. The by-election for this office had become necessary because both the 1st and 2nd chairman were in the field. Since the beginning of 1917, Ringle was also a soldier. With the invasion of the French after the lost First World War , the “Volksrat Blieskastel” was installed on November 26, 1918, in which the Social Democrats were represented for the first time by Hermann Ringle. The People's Council did not meet for its next session until April 25, 1919. In the local elections, which took place on July 11, 1920, Ringle was elected to the city council. He was also the first SPD man on the city council.

Ringle's successor as chairman of the local association was Friedrich Klenk from Zweibrücken in 1925 , who held this post until 1947 with interruptions during the Nazi era .
