Hermann von Kern

Hermann Kern , from 1901 von Kern , (born February 6, 1854 in Stuttgart ; † April 1, 1932 there ) was a Württemberg judge and administrative officer .

Life

After studying law at the Universities of Tübingen , Göttingen and Berlin and taking the corresponding higher judicial service exams , Kern became an assessor in the Württemberg Department of Churches and Schools in 1881 . He passed through the levels of government council , ministerial councilor and ministerial director . From 1900 until 1918 he was a lifelong member of the Württemberg Land estates in the First Chamber, only from 1907 to 1910 in the Second Chamber . In 1906 he was appointed to the State Council and a full member of the Privy Council , as well as a permanent councilor in the State Ministry. In 1912 he turned down the offer to become Minister of State in the Department of Churches and Schools.

Also in 1906, Kern became a full member of the Württemberg Administrative Court, of which he was president from 1916 to 1924. From 1914 to 1924 he was also head of the central management for charities and head of the Stuttgart welfare home.
