Hermann von der Reck

Ludwig Karl Wilhelm Hermann Freiherr von der Reck (from 1897 Recké ) (born January 31, 1822 in Obernfelde , † May 12, 1902 in Bückeburg ) was a German forest clerk and parliamentarian.

Life

Hermann von der Reck studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin and the Forstakademie Eberswalde . In 1843 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he entered the service of the Prussian forest administration and became a forester in Minden . In 1875 he was promoted to chief forester in Liegnitz . In retirement he lived in Bückeburg.

Reck sat from 1873 to 1876 as a member of the Minden 1 constituency (Minden, Lübbecke, Jade area) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . On March 20, 1875, he lost his mandate due to his promotion, but was immediately re-elected.

Wilhelm von der Reck , manor owner, district administrator and MdHdA, was his brother.
