Hermione Stindt

Hermine Stindt (born January 3, 1888 in Bremerhaven , † February 19, 1974 in Hanover ) was a German swimmer .

Hermine Stindt from Hannover 92 was the only German swimmer at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 who was eliminated in the first round in the 100 meter freestyle. The German 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay consisting of Wally Dressel , Louise Otto , Hermine Stindt and Grete Rosenberg crossed the finish line 11.8 seconds after the British Olympic champions, but had a 12.4 second lead over the third-placed Austrians .
