Hernán Rincon

Hernán Rincón Lema (born around 1951 or 1952 in Colombia ) is a Colombian businessman. He has been the CEO of Avianca Holdings since April 2016 . Hernán Rincón was previously with Microsoft for 13 years as President for Latin America and the Caribbean .

Life

Hernán Rincón comes from the Colombian Department of Antioquia . He studied math and computer science at New York State University . He has a Master Accounts in Industrial Engineering from the Andes University in Bogotá and a master's degree from the Kennedy School of Government and an MBA in Public Administration from Harvard University , where he developed the prestigious Edward S. Mason - grant the US government and took part in the Hubert H. Humphrey program .

During his professional career, he was President and CEO of Ferag Americas, a private Swiss company that develops, sells and installs state-of-the-art technology solutions for the print media industry. He also worked for Unisys , a provider of IT solutions and services , for 11 years .
