In 1893, the printing company, then based at Josefstädter Strasse 14 in Vienna , was founded to print Reichspost with two flat printing presses and one platen printing press . In 1976, the company was completely taken over by the Archdiocese of Vienna , where Herold Die Presse printed for the first time in 1986 with the first multicolored newspaper letterpress WIFAG . In 1990 Herold Druck was taken over by the Josef Taus industrial group .
