The Heron Iceland is a small island near the Caversham Lock on the north side of the Thames at Reading in Berkshire , England .
There are private houses on the island; it is connected to Lower Caversham by a road bridge. The island is connected by a footpath with View Island upstream, which in turn is connected to De Bohun Island by a weir .
