Herren is a German new German hardness band from Dessau .
history
Herren were founded in 2012 by Henry Henze and Thilo Reinhardt, who played together with the band Woodland until 2001. Henze and Reinhard agreed on the desired musical style and the plan to set German texts to music from now on. In this context, both insisted on choosing a German band name. The name Herren was chosen because of the ambiguity. The first band line-up stabilized by 2013.
“In fact, there is nothing left of Woodland. We have developed in a different direction musically, have a new line-up, that brings with it influences. Woodland's music is shaped by the lifestyle of the 90s. HERREN is musically and lyrically much harder and more direct, nothing is random anymore. "
Their first single Lauf weg was released in 2014, followed by their debut album Lust in 2015 . Videos were published on YouTube for the songs Lauf weg , Engel Winnen and Liebe mich . In September 2016, Martin Soer stepped in as a singer, who is also the singer of the NDH band Stahlmann . As support, Herren accompanied Ost + Front and Heldmaschine on tour. In 2015 and 2016 they appeared on the Nocturnal Culture Night.
In 2017, men entered into a contract with SPV . The singer on the new studio album Neue Deutsche Herrlichkeit was the Neue Deutsche Welle singer Hubert Kah , from whom the band subsequently separated again.
