The Herrenberg is 397 m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the municipality of Castell in the Steigerwald . It is located in the eastern part of the Kitzingen district in Lower Franconia .
Geographical location
The mountain is located immediately southeast of the wine village of Castell. It protrudes far into the flatter landscape in front of it, which is around 80 meters in altitude lower. This makes it very striking, especially from the south side, and offers a good view. The western slope is completely covered by vineyards. The mountain is only forested on the east side.
