The manor house Schloss Parow is a manor house on the outskirts of the eponymous district of the municipality of Kramerhof in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen .

The historicist mansion is a two-storey, six-axis and partially plastered building with a striking red brick facade. There is an extensive landscape park from the mid-19th century by the manor house.

The manor house was commissioned by Friedrich Franz Freiherr von Langen in 1860. The building in the style of English country houses is characterized by numerous decorations, bay windows, ornamental chimneys and skylights as well as tail and volute gables . There is a small tower on the north side. On the facade of the house there are terracotta reliefs with depictions of the heads and the partially destroyed name boards of the family members. The most famous castle owner was Carl-Friedrich von Langen , 1928 Olympic champion in dressage riding .

Part of the building is the family chapel, which was added in the neo-Gothic style in 1878 and renovated from 2000 to November 2002. In addition to the chapel facade, the old brick floor, the old stucco friezes and ceiling decorations were largely restored. The chapel is used as a branch of the registry office.

The von Langen family remained the owners of the estate until 1945, when the Parow estate and the manor house were expropriated as a result of the land reform and became the property of the municipality. After the war it was used as accommodation for numerous refugees. It was then used as a kindergarten, as a grocery store and as a community hall. In 2010 a company from Rathenow bought the manor house to build holiday apartments; Since this did not happen despite the building permit, the purchase was reversed in 2015 by the municipality, which renovated the roof and roof structure. We are looking for an investor.

The outbuildings of the manor house include a horse stable, a barn and the orangery or gardening facility built in 1910. The latter was extensively renovated in 2017 with 500,000 euros in funding from the LEADER program on the initiative of the stork's nest association from Niepars and is used as a teaching and show garden.
