The Herron River is a 87 km long left tributary of the Foraker River in Alaska (USA).
The source of the Foraker River is located below the glacier tongue of the Herron Glacier on the northwest flank of the Alaska range . The Herron River initially flows in a west-north-west direction, later in a north-north-west and finally in a north-north-east direction through the Tanana-Kuskokwim Plain . The course of the river is located in Denali National Park or in the adjacent Denali National Preserve .
