Reign of Bettmaringen

The rule Bettmaringen based in Bettmaringen , now a district of Stühlingen in the Baden-Wuerttemberg Waldshut belonged on the county Bonndorf of the Abbey of St. Blaise .

As part of the secularization in 1802/03, the rulership of Bettmaringen came under the sovereignty of Württemberg . In accordance with Article 19 of the Rhine Confederation Act of June 12, 1806, the Kingdom of Württemberg ceded the County of Bonndorf with the rule of Bettmaringen to the Grand Duchy of Baden in return for concessions from Baden .
