Hervé Granger-Veyron (born January 11, 1958 in Talence ) is a former French saber fencer .

successes

Hervé Granger-Veyron won the bronze medal with the team at the 1987 World Championships in Lausanne . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1984 he reached the final unbeaten in the team competition in Los Angeles , in which the French team Italy had to admit defeat 3: 9. Together with Philippe Delrieu , Pierre Guichot , Franck Ducheix and Jean-François Lamour , Granger-Veyron received the silver medal. In the individual competition he just missed another medal win in fourth place, in the battle for bronze he was defeated by Peter Westbrook . At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, he and the team lost 9-1 to Hungary in the semi-finals , but then prevailed 9-4 in the battle for third place against Romania . In addition to Granger-Veyron, the team also included Jean-Philippe Daurelle , Pierre Guichot, Franck Ducheix and Jean-François Lamour.
