Pierre Guichot (born February 16, 1963 in Aureilhan ) is a former French saber fencer and today's fencing trainer.

Pierre Guichot won the bronze medal with the team at the 1987 World Championships in Lausanne and 1989 in Denver . He took part in the Olympic Games three times : In 1984 he reached the final unbeaten in the team competition in Los Angeles , in which the French team Italy had to admit defeat 3: 9. Together with Philippe Delrieu , Franck Ducheix , Hervé Granger-Veyron and Jean-François Lamour , Guichot received the silver medal. In the individual, he finished fifth. Four years later he missed another medal win in Seoul with the team in fourth, while he was eleventh in the individual. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, he and the team lost 9-1 to Hungary in the semi-finals , but then prevailed 9-4 in the battle for third place against Romania . In addition to Guichot, the team also included Jean-Philippe Daurelle , Franck Ducheix, Hervé Granger-Veyron and Jean-François Lamour.

Guichot is a fencing master and worked as a trainer after his active career. From 1999 to 2008 he was national coach of the French women's saber team, from 2012 to 2014 he coached the French men's saber team. He has been the trainer of the UK national team since 2014 .
