Herz-Jesu-Kirche in Pesch

The former Roman Catholic parish church Herz-Jesu-Kirche is located in the district of Hardterbroich-Pesch in the district of Pesch in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ), Pescher Straße 138/140. It was profaned in 2014 and converted into a residential church.

The building was built in 1902/03. It was entered under no. P 012 on March 10, 1994 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

The Church of the Heart of Jesus is an axially positioned center within a small, square-like extension on Pescher Strasse.

architecture

It is a three-aisled basilica in brick construction with outline elements in tuff, sandstone and basalt. Four- bay nave with upper aisle , crossing and four- bay transept and polygonal choir with two side choirs closing on three sides . Stair tower in the northwest with a roof helmet .
