The Het Kuipje ( German Die kleine Wanne ) is the football stadium of the Belgian football club KVC Westerlo, opened in 1933 . The municipality of Westerlo is located in the Flemish province of Antwerp .
history
It currently has 8,035 spectators. Since the 2008/09 season, the stadium has been one of the few stadiums in Belgium ( Cristal Arena and Maurice Dufrasne Stadium ) to have underfloor heating . The individual, covered auditoriums are numbered. Grandstands 1 and 3 along the square hold 1,524 and 2,339 spectators, respectively. The one behind the grandstand number 4 has 1,426 seats. The rest of rank 2 towers above the three other grandstands and offers space for 2,500 fans. The name of the stadium is a reminder of the Rotterdam De Kuip ( German Die Wanne ). In addition to parking spaces, there are also four soccer fields around the stadium.
