Hetty van de Wouw (born May 29, 1998 in Kaatsheuvel ) is a Dutch cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2014 Hetty van de Wouw became the Dutch junior champion in the 500-meter time trial . In the following year she achieved her first international successes: At the Junior European Championships she won a bronze medal in the scratch and in the 500-meter time trial. In 2016, together with Steffie van der Peet, she became European Junior Champion in team sprint, sprint and time trial she won the silver medal. At the Junior World Championships she was third in the sprint. She also became the Dutch champion of the women's elite in the Keirin .

In 2017 van de Wouw was U23 European champion in the Keirin and third in the sprint. At the European Railway Championships in the same year she won the bronze medal in the team sprint together with Shanne Braspennincx and Kyra Lamberink . At the U23 European Championships , she won gold in the keirin and bronze in the sprint. In 2018 she became vice world champion in the team sprint with Kyra Lamberink, Laurine van Riessen and Shanne Braspennincx . The following year she won silver in the team sprint and bronze in the keirin at the U23 European championships with Steffie van der Peet .
