Naming

The name changes between z. B. "Heußlein of Eußenheim" , Heusslein of Eußenheim , Heusslein of Eußenheim or Heuslein of Eysenheim (see Figure crest of 1734) and Baron Heusslein Eußenheim (see figure).

history

The Heusslein von Eußenheim are ministerials of the Hochstift Würzburg who descend from Herolt Huzelin , ministerial officer of Bishop Hermann and named in a document in 1231. After the Uzzenheim ( Eußenheim an der Wern) castle fief , attested since 1303, the family took on their nickname and had belonged to the Franconian Imperial Knighthood , Canton of Gebürg , since the 16th century .

Recognition of nobility

Enrollment in the Kingdom of Bavaria with the Freiherrnklasse on March 29, 1816 for Adam Joseph Maria Valentin Donat Freiherr Heusslein von Eußenheim , formerly Prince-Bishop of Würzburg Real Privy Council and President of the Upper Council, formerly a Grand Ducal Chamberlain , and his two sisters.
