Heuchlingen is a district of Gerstetten in the Heidenheim district in Baden-Württemberg . The place is at the south-eastern end of the Gerstetter district, on the border with the municipality of Herbrechtingen .

history

Heuchlingen was first mentioned in 1143 as Huchelingen in a document from Bishop Walter von Augsburg.

The Heuchlingen district was already settled in the early days. This is supported by finds from the time of Roman settlement, which consist of the remains of two manors.

On July 1, 1974, Heuchlingen was incorporated into Gerstetten.

The Heuchlingen cycling and sports club (RSV) offers the disciplines of soccer , chess , gymnastics and badminton . In addition, the RSV organizes annual theater evenings.
