The HEUNISCH GmbH foundry consists of four foundries in Germany and the Czech Republic . The head office is in Bad Windsheim in Bavaria . The company employs around 1300 people at all locations.

history

In 1980, the HEUNISCH GmbH foundry emerged from the bankruptcy of the Schmotzer agricultural machinery factory. Four years later, the Hofmann GmbH foundry, Bad Windsheim, was taken over. With the acquisition of Slévárna Aš in the Czech Republic, mechanical processing began in Krásná, Czech Republic in 1992. In 1998 the foundry Steinach in Thuringia was taken over and in 2001 the mechanical processing in Krásná , Czech Republic was expanded. In 2003 the two foundries in Bad Windsheim merged. In 2006 the foundry Zetor was taken over and renamed to Slévárna Heunisch Brno sro. In 2014, Slévárna Heunisch as was renamed Slévárna Heunisch sro.

Products

The company engaged in the production of castings of flake graphite cast iron ( cast iron ), nodular cast iron ( spheroidal graphite iron ) Ductile iron, compacted graphite iron ( vermicular ) and cast aluminum in commercially available alloy svarianten as well as the processing of the castings made from aluminum and cast iron.
