Hexagames
Hexagames was a German game publisher in Dreieich , which existed from 1982 to 1992.
L. Hensley brought out the game Long Short , developed by Hensley, in 1982 together with Jürgen Hagedorn . One of the most famous German game publishers of the 1980s developed from this.
Initially, the owner of Hexagames was L. Hensley, a word / figurative mark was registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office in 1982 .
After the bankruptcy of the game publisher Bütehorn around 1982, Hexagames added several Bütehorn games to its range. Hagedorn left Hexagames in 1988. Joe Nikisch, who founded Abacusspiele in 1989 , was responsible for the Hexagames product range until 1990 (product manager).
In 1989 the word / figurative mark “Hexagames” was registered by “FAN Verlags-GmbH” in Dreieich.
After Hexagames was dissolved in 1992, the Berlin game manufacturer Sala took over some of the games under the Salagames label . Salagames also disappeared from the market after about two years.
In 1994 some Hexagames games were re -published by Abacusspiele .
In 1994 the word / figurative mark “Hexagames” was registered by “BOB Marketing & Sales GmbH” in Langen. Osiris was launched in 1995 , Career Poker was sold in 1996 under "Hexagames Verlag BOB Marketing & Sales GmbH".
