The Hezil Çayı ( Arabic نهر الهيزل, DMG Nahr al-Hayzal , also Hezil Suyu ) is a right tributary of the Chabur Çayı in southeastern Turkey along the border with Iraq .
The Hezil Çayı rises on the northern flank of the 3231 m high Kelmehmet Dağı in the East Taurus , about 10 km north-northeast of Uludere . It flows through the south of the Şırnak province . It initially flows north, later turning west and south-west. Eventually it flows south past the Şenoba settlement . The Ortasu Çayı flows from the left to the west of Bağlıca . The Hezil Çayı reaches the border with Iraq after another 20 km and forms the border line up to its confluence with the Chabur Çayı.
