Uludere ( Kurdish : Qilaban or Keleban ) is a Turkish city ​​and a district of the same name in the province of Şırnak in southeastern Anatolia . The city is home to just under a quarter of the district's population.

The district is located in the southeast of the province and borders Iraq . Uludere has been a district since June 27, 1957 and was part of the Siirt Province until May 15, 1990 . In addition to the district town ( Merkez ), there are three other municipalities ( Belediye ) in the district: Şenoba (7,157), Uzungeçit (3,210) and Hilal (3,696 inhabitants). Air strike
