Highsnobiety is a streetwear - Blog , founded in 2005 by David Fischer. The blog deals with news from the fields of fashion , art , music and culture . The company is based in Berlin . The first printed edition of the magazine appeared in the summer of 2010. The Highsnobiety website is visited eight million times a month. The title Media GmbH, which is behind Highsnobiety, employs around 100 people in offices in Berlin, London and New York .

history

In 2005, Highsnobiety was run as a private blog by David Fischer, which mainly dealt with the topics of sneakers , streetwear and graffiti culture. In 2009 David Fischer moved the headquarters of Highsnobiety from his apartment in Geneva to Berlin .

In December 2016 Jürgen Hopfgartner was appointed the second managing director of Titel Media GmbH.

In 2018, Highsnobiety received US $ 8.5 million in a Series A round from London-based venture capitalist Felix Capital.

Collaborations

Highsnobiety has used numerous collaborations with brands such as Diadora , Mykita , Birkenstock , Adidas , Puma and A Bathing Ape as a marketing tool over the years .
