Hildegard Diessel

Hildegard Diessel (born March 31, 1918 in Osnabrück , † May 29, 1971 in Bad Neuenahr ) was a German writer and translator .

Life

Hildegard Diessel lived in Murrhardt in Württemberg . She wrote numerous books for children and young people , most of which were published by W. Fischer Verlag in Göttingen . In particular, the volumes about the protagonistPutzi ” were a great success and were reprinted until the 1990s . In addition , Diessel translated narrative works from English into German .

After the divorce of her first marriage, which was recognized by the Vatican in 1955 , she was married to Albert von Haller until her death , but used her maiden name Hildegard Diessel in publications.
