Hildegard Hahn created paintings, drawings, objects, collages, scenarios, sculptures, photographs and videos, later more and more often in a combination of the aforementioned forms of representation. Her works developed in parallel to her life in different periods.
After moving to the island in the 1970s, the abstraction acquired in the 1960s was followed by a new view of the landscape and the sea. From the mid-1980s he began creating large-format, colorful, very expressive paintings. Hahn later worked mainly in the field of object and conceptual art. At the same time, he kept making drawings and paintings.
