Hills Have Eyes is a metalcore band from Setúbal , Portugal .

history

The band Hills Have Eyes was founded in 2006 from the band "Skapula" in the Portuguese city of Setúbal . Pedro Pais, one of the former musicians in the band, already played for the Portuguese metalcore band More Than A Thousand . The current line-up includes Eddie ( vocals ), Nuno Silva ( drums ), China ( electric guitar ), André Teixeira (electric guitar) and David Fernandes ( bass ).

In 2009 the debut album Black Book was released on the Portuguese label Recital Records, with which the band Heavenwood was also under contract. Previously, All Doves Have Been Killed (2007) an EP and a split CD with the bands My Ocean and Last Reunion were released in 2009.

Strangers , the follow-up album to Black Book, which was released on February 17, 2012, was mastered by Fredrik Nordström (including Bring Me the Horizon , Adept ). A week later Hills Have Eyes started a 5 concert release tour through Portugal . In Japan , Strangers was released on the Go With Me label. This album version contains the songs from the EP All Doves Have Been Killed as bonus tracks.

In 2012 the band embarked on their "Strangers Eurotour". Hills Have Eyes played on this tour in Hungary , Switzerland , Germany , Austria , Spain , France and Luxembourg . As part of this tour, Hills Have Eyes played at the Warm Up Party of the Traffic Jam Open Air on April 28th in Darmstadt with the bands Give Em Blood , Checkmate and Awaiting Crunch . The last concert of this tour took place on May 26th at the Food For Your Senses Festival in Luxembourg. Previously, the group played on May 23 as the opening act for the Canadian band Cancer Bats in Santiago Alquimista .
