Himmeroder Hof (Ürzig)
The Himmeroder Hof in Ürzig , a local community on the Middle Moselle in the district of Bernkastel-Wittlich ( Rhineland-Palatinate ), was originally built in 1574. The building with the address Moselufer 43 is a protected architectural monument .
history
Of the building ensemble, which was originally a courtyard of the Himmerod Abbey , only the house built in 1574 has survived. It is also known as the Mönchshof . The house was rebuilt in 1822 and given an elaborate neo-renaissance facade in 1898 . The house with four to five axes has profiled window frames and some decorative gables over the windows. The corner cuboid is richly decorated with ornaments.
