Life

Hinricus Bran served in Bemerode from 1575 to 1634, also during the Thirty Years' War . He was pastor at the Jakobikirche in Kirchrode. The patronage of the church at that time was the Marienrode monastery near Hildesheim . For this he kept a stock book .

Works

Marienrode Monastery owned extensive land on the Kronsberg near Bemerode. In 1483 Hinricus Bran described the monastery goods located in the Kirchrode parish in a warehouse book. For centuries this book formed a basis for the ownership structure in the parish.

Honors

The name of the Kleieweg , laid out in 1966, is reminiscent of the pastor who was in office in Bemerode in the Middle Ages.
