Hippolytus Saurer

Anton Hippolyt Saurer (born August 15, 1878 in Arbon , TG ; † October 25, 1936 in Vienna ) was a Swiss businessman and manufacturer from Arbon in the canton of Thurgau .

He was the son of Adolph Saurer and co-owner of the commercial vehicle manufacturer Saurer and designed trucks and weaving machines. In 1922 he sold his private, 8-seater limousine to the Weesen-Amden car company , which turned out to be a good customer of Saurer. The head of the factory at the time died in 1936 as a result of an almond operation.

Saurer was a citizen of Tablat and Arbon.
