Hippolytos (giant)

Hippolytos ( Greek  Ἱππόλυτος ) is a giant from Greek mythology . He is mentioned in the list of names in the library of Apollodorus as the son of Gaia and the blood of Uranus , which falls on Gaia when he is emasculated.

He is killed in the Gigantomachy of Hermes . Since the giants can only be finally killed by mortals, Heracles kills him lying on the ground with an arrow.
