Agrios ( ancient Greek Ἄγριος ) is a giant of Greek mythology .

He is mentioned in the library of Apollodorus as the son of Gaia and the blood of Uranus , which falls on Gaia when he is emasculated. In the list of names in the fabulae of Hyginus , he is the son of Ge and Tartaros . According to the library of Apollodorus , Agrios and Thoon were slain with bronze clubs by the Moiren in the Gigantomachy . Since the giants can only be finally killed by mortals, Heracles kills him lying on the ground with an arrow.
