Hiroki Abe ( Japanese 安 部 裕 葵 Abe Hiroki ; born January 28, 1999 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese football player . He currently plays on the left wing for the FC Barcelona B .

Career

society

In his youth he played at FC Tokyo until 2014 and at Setouchi High School until 2016. From there he went to the Kashima Antlers as the first professional station in his career . There he reached the runner-up title in the league with the team in his first season , and in 2017 he also made his first Champions League appearance in a preliminary round game against Brisbane Roar . In the 2018 season it was still enough for third place. In the same year, however, he was able to celebrate victory in the Champions League with his team and thus his first championship title in his professional career. In the first and second leg he also took part as a player on the field. For his good season in Japan, he finally received the J. League Rookie of the Year Award.

In the summer of 2019 he moved to Spain to FC Barcelona B for 1.1 million euros , where he signed a four-year contract. He should slowly be introduced to the first team in the reserve. His release clause was set at 40 million euros. If he should move into the squad of the first team, this sum should increase to 100 million euros. He scored his first goal in Segunda División B on November 17, 2019 in a 3-3 draw against Cornella .

National team

On May 24, 2019, he was appointed to the senior team for the 2019 Copa America in Brazil by Japanese head coach Hajime Moriyasu . There he got his first use on June 17 in the preliminary round game against Chile, where he was substituted on for Shōya Nakajima on the 66th minute .
