Hiromi Miyake
Hiromi Miyake ( Japanese 三宅宏実 , Miyake Hiromi * 1. October 1982 in Tokyo , Japan ), known by her first name Hiromi is a Japanese J-Pop - singer-songwriter with pop - and R & B -Einflüssen. At first she worked as backing vocals for artists such as Namie Amuro .
life and career
Hiromi was born in Tokyo and started playing koto at the age of five . After a series of performances, she was awarded a certificate by the Japanese Koto Association at the age of twelve . While studying in secondary education , she took singing lessons after performing a vocal performance. This resulted in her performing in some Tokyo nightclubs .
In summer 2002 she attended in Boston , United States , on a College , the Faculty of Psychology . She took further singing lessons and workshops on music production at the local singing school Bristol Voice Studio . She also took classical singing lessons in Salzburg , Austria in the summer of 2004 . After these singing lessons she took part in a singing competition organized by the radio station 93.7 FM under the title Star 93.7 , which she then won. During this time she also acted solo as a support act for artists such as Monica , Kimberley Locke and Tamyra Gray . In the winter of 2004 she finished her studies and traveled back to Japan.
In May 2006 she released her first digital collaboration single entitled Fire !! as a guest contribution to the artist Coyass . The digital single LOVE followed later in October of the same year with FRG as a guest contribution, making this her debut single. The song has not yet appeared on any of their albums.
For the studio album Play by Namie Amuro , she took up her position as backing vocals in the songs Hide & Seek , Top Secret and Baby Don't Cry .
More digital singles followed until she released her debut album entitled Rainbow on June 24, 2009 . This studio album was on the download portal iTunes as Hiromi's edition titled and did not have the song Recover , but two more titles Complete and Hate U . The CD version reached number 62 in the weekly Oricon charts and stayed there for five weeks with a total of 3000 units sold.
She is often mentioned with her pseudonym Rainbow Voice .
