Hirooki Arai
Hirooki Arai ( Japanese 荒 井 広 宙 , Arai Hirooki; born May 18, 1988 in Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese walker .
In the 50 km walk he was tenth at the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu , eleventh in Moscow in 2013 and fourth in Beijing in 2015 . At the 2017 World Championships in London , Arai won the silver medal in 50km walking. He celebrated the greatest success of his career to date by winning the bronze medal in 50 km walking at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
