Hiroshi Kawashima
Hiroshi Kawashima ( jap. 川島郭志 , Kawashima Hiroshi * 27. March 1970 in Tokushima Prefecture , Japan ) is a former Japanese boxer in the super flyweight .
Professional career
In 1988 he successfully started his professional career. On April 4, 1994 he boxed against José Luis Bueno for the world title of the association WBC and won by unanimous decision of the judges. He defended this title a total of six times and lost it in February 1997 to Gerry Peñalosa on points.
After this defeat he ended his career.
