Hirsch Baer Fassel
Hirsch Baer Fassel ( August 21, 1802 in Boskovice , Moravia - December 27, 1883 in Nagykanizsa , Hungary ) was a rabbi .
Fassel worked as a rabbi in Groß-Kanicsa (Nagykanizsa) for 32 years. Fassel belonged to the party of decisive progress in Judaism. Encouraged by Abraham Geiger , he emphatically emphasized the need for reform of the Jewish ritual law and joined most of the resolutions of the Augsburg Synod.

In addition to sermons and smaller papers, he published:
- The Mosaic Rabbinical Civil Law. Groß-Kanizsa 1852–54, two volumes.
- The Mosaic Rabbinical Trial in Civil Matters. Great Kanizsa 1858.
- The Mosaic Rabbinical Doctrine of Virtue and Law. Second edition Groß-Kanizsa 1862.
- Āśôt mîšpāt̹. The Mosaic-rabbinical court proceedings in civil law matters processed according to the arrangement and division of the court regulations of modern times, and explained with reference to sources. Great Kanizsa 1870.
