Hisham Fansa

Hisham Fansa (* 1969 in Hanover ) is a German surgeon and university professor .

Life

Fansa completed her studies in medicine at the Hannover Medical School and the University of Western Ontario in 1994 with the state examination. The following year he was at the Hannover Medical School for Dr. med. PhD . In 2001 he completed his habilitation at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg . In 2016 he was re-qualified at the Technical University of Munich . He completed his part-time study of “Health Care Management” at the FHW Berlin in 2009 with an MBA .

After holding positions at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Fansa has been chief physician at the Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery - Hand Surgery at the Bielefeld Clinic since 2003 and practiced in Munich until 2019. Fansa has been the chief physician for plastic surgery at the Zollikerberg Hospital since 2019. From 2011 to 2013 he was President of the German Society for Wound Healing and Wound Treatment e. V.

Fansa appeared in the documentary soap My terrible beautiful body broadcast on Sat.1 .

Fansa is the son of the German-Syrian prehistorian and museum director Mamoun Fansa .
