Hit24 was a television channel, which mainly music from the range of rock 'n' roll and pop sent. The 24-hour themed program brought music clips, moderated music programs and live concerts. The broadcast started on April 3, 2004 .

The target group were the over 30s. The program, like its counterpart from the folk music field Goldstar TV, was produced by Mainstream Media AG of the media entrepreneur Gottfried Zmeck in Ismaning near Munich .

Hit24 was digitally via satellite used and was there as well as in cable as part of the program bouquets of Premiere received too. In the course of the changes in the program offering due to the brand change to "Sky Deutschland", this distribution channel was discontinued on July 1, 2009. New reception options, e.g. B. via cable network operators or IPTV and thus the future of the station were still open at that time. There was no continuation of broadcasting.
