Hiyoko Island ( Japanese ひ よ こ 島 Hiyoko-jima , German 'chick island' ) is an island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 1 km southwest of the island of Nesøya in the Lützow-Holm Bay . It is the easternmost of the three islands, 800 m northwest of the strait between Ongul Island and East Ongul Island .

Aerial photographs and measurements of a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out from 1957 to 1962. The American Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names converted the Japanese name from 1972 into English in 1975.
