Hlodossy ( Ukrainian Глодоси ; Russian Глодосы Glodossy ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kirovohrad with about 2,700 inhabitants (2001).
The village is situated on the banks of Suchyj Tashlyk ( Сухий Ташлик ), a length of 57 km, left tributary of the Synjucha 24 km northwest of Rajonzentrum novoukrainka and 92 km west of the Oblastzentrum Kropywnyzkyj .
Hlodossy is the administrative center of the district council of the same name in the northwest of Novoukrajinka district , which also includes the villages of Werbivka ( Вербівка ⊙ ) with about 550 inhabitants and Marjaniwka ( Мар'янівка ⊙ ) with about 70 inhabitants.
Personalities
The Ukrainian journalist, poet and translator Teren Massenko (1903–1970) was born in the village .
