The Synjucha ( Ukrainian Синюха ; German for "Blue Waters") is a river in Ukraine . It arises from the confluence of the Velyka Wys with the Tikytsch (which in turn arises from Hirskyj and Hnylyj Tikytsch a few kilometers earlier ) and flows into the southern Bug in the city of Pervomajsk ( Mykolaiv Oblast ) .

The name of the Synjucha River was originally "blue water". It rises in the Dnieper Upland and extends through the Rajone Nowoarchanhelsk and Wilschanka in Oblast Kirovohrad than even Rajon Pervomaisk in Mykolaiv Oblast in Ukraine.

The Synjucha has a length of 111 km and a width of up to 2.5 km. The main tributaries are: right-hand Jatran (Ятрань); on the left Suchyj Taschlyk (Сухий Ташлик) and Tschornyj Taschlyk (Чорний Ташлик).

history

The Battle of the Blue Water between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Golden Horde took place on the river in 1362 .
